蜜柚视频has conducted 听four听Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs)听since 2021 to help strengthen commercial corridors in the City of Chicago. These include:

City Chicago Neighborhood TAP: 听Central Avenue in Austin (completed April 2023), in partnership with Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and Austin Coming Together

City of Chicago Central Area TAPs:
These TAPs were conducted with support from the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development (DPD) as part of City of Chicago鈥檚 Central Area recovery planning efforts.

• North Michigan Avenue听(completed October 2021), in partnership with City of Chicago DPD & The Magnificent Mile Association
• LaSalle Street听in the Loop听(completed February 2022), in partnership with the City of Chicago DPD & Chicago Loop Alliance
• State Street in the Loop (completed June 2023) in partnership with the City of Chicago DPD & Chicago Loop Alliance

• The 听was issued in June 2021 by the City of Chicago and the听听to provide post-COVID downtown recovery strategies to revitalize and draw visitors back to the downtown area.

CLA is a membership organization as well as the sole service provider for Special Service Area#1-2015, and the Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation produces public art projects and events. • is dedicated to providing backbone support for a 50+ network of non-profit, faith-based, public, and private entities. ACT is the designated lead agency鈥攖he local community-based organization鈥攆or Austin’s first Quality-of-Life Plan called Austin Forward. Together. This plan, prepared with the support of LISC Chicago, was released in 2018. Revitalizing Central Avenue and establishing it as Austin’s “Main Street,” is a focal project of Austin Forward.Together ACT facilitates collaboration to achieve more, together. This approach is called collective impact. ACT serves Austin by leveraging consistent community engagement to focus on these strategic imperatives:

  • Attracting public and private investment through community organizing and planning
  • Building capacity for policy change
