About Me

Ron Attreau (Adjunct Professor, Music) is a Lakeview Chicago-based pianist, multi-woodwind instrumentalist, music teacher, and conductor. He currently teaches middle school band at the Chicago Waldorf School and Choral Methods at ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ CCPA. He also has music directed many musical theatre productions for various theatre companies and schools including Urinetown three times (University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, Parkland College), Young Frankenstein (Covedale Center), and Reefer Madness (Towle). He also arranged and co-wrote music for a world premiere pop-punk musical at Nothing Without a Company. Ron has a Bachelor’s of Music Education degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as well as Master’s of Music from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, with a focus on conducting and repertoire.
