ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµis proud to have two local members who have been awarded 2019 WLI Prologis Fall Meeting Scholarships.
ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµis pleased to announce our 2019-2020 Jeffrey Kahan Full-Member Fellows – Megan Clower, Associate, Pearlmark and Dawveed Scully, Senior Urban Designer, SOM.
Created in memory of long-time ULI member, Jeffrey Kahan, the Kahan Fellowship provides ULI Young Leaders with a one-year Full membership and participation on the IOPC-Blue National Product Council. As Kahan Fellows, Megan and Dawveed will attend both the ULI Fall & Spring Meetings. Additionally, they have been paired with a Council mentor who will act as a resource to expand their experience as a Council member.

Megan Clower
Megan Clower is an Associate at Pearlmark, with responsibility for analyzing new equity & mezzanine debt real estate investment opportunities and providing asset and portfolio management support for existing investments. Prior to joining Pearlmark, Ms. Clower was a Senior Analyst for the Chicago Regional Debt Team of MetLife Real Estate.
Ms. Clower received her BA from Amherst College and her MBA in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of the ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ (ULI) and the Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF).
Dawveed Scully
Dawveed Scully is a Senior Urban Designer at SOM in Chicago. Trained as an architect and urbanist, Dawveed has a strong passion to make design a strong tool to enhance the lives of everyday people. He has experience working on a variety of projects from vision strategies that create a framework to move forward to developing implementation strategies that allow those visions to be realized. We do this by facilitating robust collaboration between stakeholders, local government, and empowering citizens into the design process.
Dawveed is a graduate of IIT school of architecture and was recently awarded the ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµYoung Visionary Award in 2018. He was recently selected to participate in Mayor-elect Lightfoot’s transition committee on Business, Economic and Neighborhood Development.

The Kahan Fellowship honors Jeffrey Kahan, a principal and director of the Investment Services group of Colliers International in Chicago, who passed away in June 2012.  As an active member of ULI and a member of the IOPC – Blue Flight, Kahan deeply believed in the value of the relationships formed and information shared through ULI. He was a passionate Chicagoan and wanted his life’s work to make a positive impact on the City.Â
